Kaiwhakahaere / Manager (part-time)
The management role is a new position within the Women’s Self Defence Network – Wāhine Toa, and you will work with the Board in shaping the current and future direction of the network. Click here to read a full job description and to apply now.
Kaimahi / Administrator (full-time)
You will be the strong backbone of a national feminist organisation that provides self-defence training for women and girls. In this full-time role, you will work with the Kaiwhakahaere / Manager and a part time accounts person to ensure that all the administrative functions of the network are filled. Self Defence is for every woman or girl regardless of age, size, fitness, mobility or strength. Every woman or girl is able to learn effective skills, techniques and strategies that will help keep her safe.
The Women’s Self Defence Network — Wāhine Toa believes that all women and girls have a fundamental right to live in safety from violence and abuse.
